> BRICKS, LOCKS AND OBSTACLES <

This is the beginning of a what I consider to be a “still life” series based on pseudo-organic motifs found in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I am attempting to explore the psychooles, cemented repairs to brick walls, even a solo strand of ivlogical implications and emotional reactions to locks, strange holes, cemented repairs to brick walls, even a solo strand of ivy attempting regrowth and running into a cement obstacle. My intent is to select a “still life” that feels as though it is open to interpretation as a metaphor, though what that specific interpretation is may, of course, vary to different viewers.
